Product Description 
TK-T400 is a kind of medium-to-large sized aircraft tow tractor designed by for aircraft push and tow service. The tow tractor is heavy duty capacity of towing the big aircrafts as push back based on absorption of the similar equipment from
local and overseas markets. The equipment has the features as below:
· Four wheel drive
· Four wheel hydraulic steering
· Four wheel hydraulic braking
· Four Steering selection of modes: (front wheel steering, four wheel coordinated steering, and Crab wheel steering)
· The driver's cabin can be hydraulically lifted and lowered emergently

The tractor adopts the arc streamline design and the whole structure is compact. The gravity is low and the overall height is low, which make the tractor run under the large aircraft freely. The max  DBP is 300KN so that it can provide the pushing and towing services for all small to large sized aircrafts except B747 and A380.

MAIN STRUCTURE AND CONFIGURATION
CT-T400 Aircraft tow tractor consists of chassis,  engine,  gearbox, transmission shaft, front/rear axle, tires, frame, driver's  cabin,  hydraulic system,  braking system, steering system, conditioning system, centralized lubrication system, electrical control system, etc.
1. Chassis
1.1 Main frame
It is integrally welded by high-intensity steel plate. On top of the chassis there are four lifting hooks and cover board with the antiskid materials. The body can bear 300kg/m pressure, and there is quick-opening cover board with hinges on the top of the frame and at both sides of the maintenance openings with the mechanical insurance support bar. The inspection holes of engine oil, gearbox oil, antifreeze is set in the place that is easy to inspect. For easily maintenance, there are four hydraulic jack support legs inside the frame with the monitoring system for the falling of legs, which can alarm timely.
1.2. Shock absorption
The front axle uses the suspended type of steel leaf spring for the shock absorption, and it is also equipped with hydraulic vibration damper.
1.3. Tow Hitch
Tow hitches on both front and rear ends of the tractor.
1.4. It is equipped with the whole hydraulic lifting system (hydraulic support legs), which is easy to change the tires and maintain the whole tractor.

2. Engine
The engine  is equipped at the  inside of the  rear of the  main frame, which  make the front/rear axle distribution more reasonable.

The engine has the automatic emergency stop protection system when the oil pressure is low, the water temperature is high, the speed is excessive, etc.

3. The gearbox, shaft axle and the front/rear axle
The gearbox and engine are connected through the soft terminal pad, which is installed on the both sides in the middle of the main frame. Two output terminals of the gearbox are connected through  main decelerator of front/rear shaft axle and driving axle, which  is equipped with two driving axles compensating gears and locking device. The engine power can achieve full-bridge four-wheel driven from the gearbox, shaft axle, main decelerator box, semi axis, hub reductor, wheel rim to the tires.

5. Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic system, brake hydraulic system, driver's cabin and the whole lift hydraulic system, cooling hydraulic system.
The main components are all  international renowned brands, such as Safim,  Rexroth, MECC, Eaton, Parker and HYTOS, etc.
When the engine works but the executive mechanisms don't work, every hydraulic system should be at the holding or unloading condition so as to reduce the energy loss. Besides, there are many pressure-testing joints installed for each hydraulic system, which is easy for maintenance and inspection.
The complete hydraulic system adopts the seamless galvanized steel pipes mostly, the hydraulic hoses are all famous branded, the compression safety factors are all more than twice or more; all the joints are with good quality which can prevent leakage and get the whole hydraulic pipes look neat and great, and easy to be maintained.

6. Braking system
6.1. Service braking (Foot brake)
It adopts complete hydraulic two-circuit independent power brake system, when one fail, the other can work. It's equipped with emergency manual hydraulic pump.
6.2. Parking brake (Hand brake)
The output terminal of the transmission is equipped with the caliper disc brake, the braking method is "hydraulic release, spring brake"

7. Steering system
Type:   Complete hydraulic power steering
Steering method: under electronic control, there're three steering methods: front wheel, four wheel and crab steering; it also can achieve static pivot steering of those four methods, with four wheel return-to-neutral system.
Control method: Complete hydraulic steering device
The forced back system: it is equipped with the forced back system, which can guarantee the tractor can run as straight-line after steering.
Auxiliary device: it is equipped with the electric pump, which is installed independently from engine. It is the alternate emergency steering device, when the engine fail, it can provide the backup steering power.

8. Electrical system
Fully electrical operation system, voltage: 24VDC, 200Ah battery.

9. Driver's cabin
Type: Liftable at height range 700mm
9.1. Ancillary facility 
Anti-collision switch installed on the top of driver's cabin. If the cabin meets the barrier during lifting, it will fall to the bottom at high speed, which can prevent that the cabin hit the aircraft during lifting. 
9.2. The wired closed circuit monitoring device is optional, which can monitor the rear towing device efficiently. 

9.3. Air conditioner 
For comfortable driving, it is equipped with air conditioner for both heating and cooling. 

9.4. Light system 
Rear light : stop light (night light), turn light, reversing light, braking light, fog light, towing hook light. 
Headlight : front light (high/low beam), stop light (night light), turn light, towing hook light. 
Alarming light on roof of the driver's cabin (Amber flash) 
9.5. Engine emergency stop switch 
There is an emergency stop button in the driver's cabin, in case of emergency, it can stop.
